The interview questions that we are going to review here are the one usually asked about your career goal:

Free Interview Question :
Where do you see yourself in five years?  In ten years?

The interviewer is seeking your level of ambition.  Focus on the types of experiences you hope to gain over time, as well as the experience that the job you are applying will bring.

Free Interview Question :
What are your work-related goals for the next few years?

Employers would like to know if your goals fit opportunities available in their organization. If your goals fit their needs, then you're more likely to be offered a position within the company.

Free Interview Question :
Have you progressed in your career as you expected?

Review the positive learning experiences from your past jobs and the next steps you are ready to take as a result. Be realistic in admitting the areas where you need more experience. Honesty is important here, without demonstrating either pessimism or unrealistic expectations.

Free Interview Question :
If you could start your career again from the beginning, what would you change?

The interviewer is trying to determine how satisfied you are with your current position, field and career choice.  Discuss the lessons and personal development that you continually gain. Don't emphasize changes or dissatisfaction with previous choices.

Free Interview Question :
What career goals do you bring to your work?

This question will be asked if it is apparent that your career goals might benefit your work.  In this case, you could show that you have solid, logical reasons for choosing your field and that it is compatible with your new career choice.

Free Interview Question :
Describe your ideal job.

Ideally, your perfect job will be the one you are currently interviewing for. Make sure your answer closely matches the position for which you are applying. Describe the activities, environment or type of colleagues that would make your work most enjoyable. Keep your answer general and avoid specifics.

Free Interview Question :
What prompted you to choose your current career?

This is your chance to sell your aptitudes that fit the job description.  They are looking for what value you can bring.  Tie in your answer to the industry, company goals and your own personal objectives.

Free Interview Question :
Would you ever consider starting your own company?

This is a personal choice that only you can make.  The interviewer wants to gain insight into your ambition, motivation, and long-term goals and how well you will ultimately fit in with the company. Describe the natural next step in your professional development based on what you've learned and enjoyed in your last job. What do you feel ready to tackle next?

Free Interview Question :
What motivated you to change careers at this time?

Answer this question as honestly as you can, while maintaining a positive and amiable manner.  Explain your reasons for leaving your employment in such a way that the interviewer is aware that you seek personal growth and development.

Free Interview Question :
What do you expect your job title will be in five years?

Everyone hates this question, but everyone asks it. The traditional answer is "management." But in recent years companies have started to develop a technical career track. Many companies call this position "consultant" or "senior software engineer" or "staff engineer." Of course, any other management position that you think would interest you is also appropriate: product marketing manager, application manager for a project (a first-line manager), or any other position that requires a technical background. Employers like goal-oriented workers, so saying you don't know will turn a manager off.

Free Interview Question :
Do you think that you have made the right career choice?

Unless you are aiming for a complete change of career, you must convince the interviewer that you wouldn't change a thing. You love your career and, given the chance, you would do it all over again. free interview question free interview question

Indicate how your specific goals and objectives are uniquely aligned with the company's objectives and that you will set goals to improve the skills required to meet those goals.

Free Interview Question :
Do you like the career path you have selected?  Has it been gratifying for you?

Describe for the interviewer the positive results you have achieved in your career and how they measure up to your expectations.  The interviewer is trying to establish that your needs can be satisfied on the job.

Free Interview Question :
What are your short-term objectives?

Indicate that for the short-term, you'd like to find a position that is a good fit and where you can contribute to a company's bottom line. Your answer should describe your ideal job. Focus on what you seek in your next job, taking care that your response closely matches the position you're applying for.

Free Interview Question :
What are your long-term objectives?

Your employer is attempting to determine if you have plans to stay with the firm. Let them know that if you are selected for the position, you would hope to meet your goals and take advantage of opportunities to learn so you would be considered for other positions within the company. Reassure them that you hope to build your career with a company such as this one.
