Talk about the accomplishments that are your greatest source of pride. Your answer will hint at the type of projects you would like to complete in the future. The interviewer is interested in learning how your accomplishments can translate to success for his company.

Have you ever managed a project for your previous employer? What was the result?
Many employers define their progress within the scope of projects and groups. Initiating a project and carrying it through to completion demonstrates that you have the ability to make a significant contribution. Offer proof of your accomplishments using real examples. Point out your skills that you have worked to develop, or a time when your work required solid management skills.

Tell me about the most significant accomplishment in your career?
Draw from your experience with previous employers, and explain the most significant personal development you have managed to achieve. Give details of what you did, how it came about, and what you accomplished.

What makes you unique and why should we hire you over any of our other candidates?
Use this question as an opportunity to stress your strengths, experience, education, and skills. Emphasize a few of your strongest qualifications and relate them to the position in question. Prepare at least three key reasons to show how you are better than the other candidates. Use specific examples to illustrate your reasons, something unusual or unique that will help them remember you.

As with all of these kinds of questions, personalize your answer with your work history, but leave room for improvement. Always show that you believe the best of your work is yet to be realized and that is your motivation to continue searching for new opportunities to improve.

Answer this question by detailing your accomplishments using true examples. Be brief and specific in your answer illustrating the positive results of your work. The interviewer is interested in how well suited you are to the job. What do you do particularly well and want to do more of in your next position? What ideas did you bring to your previous employers that helped make it a successful enterprise?
This question probes whether you are a contributor, someone who looks for ways to improve the business. The interviewer is attempting to determine your level of involvement, participation, and confidence with your previous employers. Be forthright and state clearly any contributions you have made in the past. Be sure that your example of initiative does not show a disregard for company policies and procedures.

Tell me about any honors or awards that you have received in the past.
The interviewer is interested in the specific skills you can bring to the company. Discuss one or more important attributes of the type of job you are interviewing for, and draw upon your previous work experience to show where and how you shine in this area.

Why should I consider you a strong applicant for this position?
Match your strengths and accomplishments directly to the requirements of the job. For example, be sure that you mention a singular skill for meeting even the most unreasonable deadlines, or say that you are tenacious. Nothing can stop you.

What have you done that shows initiative and willingness to work?
Tell a story about how you landed or created a job for yourself, or even got involved in some volunteer work. Your answer should show initiative in that you handled unexpected problems calmly and anticipated others. Your willingness is demonstrated by the ways you overcame obstacles.

What would you like to accomplish that you weren't able to accomplish in your last position?
This question should be answered in the same way you would answer "Why are you ready to leave your current job?" Remain positive and discuss things you enjoy and have an aptitude for, but avoid dwelling on the limitations of your last job.

What were the most rewarding aspects of your most recent job?
The interviewer is interested in how well suited you are to the job. Illustrate what you do particularly well and want to do more of in your next position. Conclude by focusing on the new experiences you are seeking in your career. Your response should correspond closely to the position you are applying for.

Tell me about a contribution you have made to a team.
Tell the interviewer about your initiative within a team. Offer proof, using specific examples, that you delivered more than the team expected and that the team would compliment your contributions to the group's efforts.

Tell me about an organization outside of work that has benefited from your participation.
Discuss in some detail your initiative with something you volunteered for, such as working for a charitable organization. In other words, what things are important motivators for you? Explain how your employer could benefit from these interests in some way.

If I hired you today, what would you accomplish first?
Give the interviewer clear, tangible evidence that the company will benefit immediately upon hiring you. Focus your answer on the action you would take, and make sure your goals are realistic. Demonstrate specific knowledge about the company and industry and how it relates to the role of your department and job.

What accomplishments were the most difficult for you to achieve?
Describe something you've accomplished despite obstacles, lack of training, or inadequate experience. It is a perfect opportunity to show how you overcame a weakness and turned it into an asset.

Tell me about something that you accomplished which required discipline.
This is your opportunity to discuss a skill you worked to develop, or a time when the quantity of your work required solid time-management skills. Explain how you remained focused on the task and leveraged the required discipline to accomplish the goal.

Tell me about a project you completed ahead of schedule.
Focus here on how you set goals and schedules, measured results and championed the outcome of a project. The interviewer is attempting to discover your diligence in accomplishing tasks and in your leadership skills.

What achievements have eluded you?
Describe a responsibility you'd like but haven't yet earned. Tell the interviewer what you are ready to tackle next. Explain why you haven't had the opportunity to assume such a responsibility and describe your continuing efforts to reach your goals.

Tell me about one of your projects that failed.
Demonstrate the ability here to be humble and to learn from your mistakes. Explain what you are now aware of, what you could have done differently, and how that awareness has brought you growth and development.
