Free Reading RunesFree Reading Runes Stones are of Scandinavian / Germanic origin. Each symbol on the stones carries an inner meaning and concept and is not jsut representative of a letter. You will learn to recognize these 24 symbols and the concept that each represents.
The 24 runes are dedicated to 3 Norse Gods and are divide into sets of eight known as Freyr's Aett, Hagal's Aett, and Tyr's Aett.
The 25th stone is blank. It is called "Wyrd" and means the unknowable, destiny, or fate. The meaning of the Wyrd stone in a reading will, of course, be softened or hardened by the influence of the stones that surround it; however, it will still mean, "In the lap of the Gods" or "What will be will be."
